حجت الاسلام و المسلمین حاج آقای علی معصومی، از خانواده ای اصیل ،محترم،معروف و متدیّن از شهر بجنورد استان خراسان می باشند .
ایشان تحصیلات ابتدایی،متوسطه و تکمیلی خود را در ایران و سپس در لندن به انجام رساندند ؛ و از سِنِّ ۲۱ سالگی جهت تحصیل در علوم حوزوی ،وارد حوزه های علمیّه شهرهای مقدّس قم و در ادامه نجف اشرف گردیدند. در طول دو دهه اخیر، ایشان از محضر اساتید بزرگ و گرانقدر آیات عظام حسین وحید خراسانی،مهدی گنجی(در شهر مقّدس قم) ، محمّد اسحاق فیّاض و مرحوم سیّد محّمد حسن حکیم (در شهر نجف اشرف)بهره بردند و همواره در زُمره شاگردان برجسته و ممتاز ایشان بوده اند.
تدریس دروس عالی و عقاید در حوزه علمیّه نجف اشرف،تألیفات ارزشمند در فقه و عقائد،سخنرانی بسیار در مراکز دینی، علمی و دانشگاه ها (به زبان های انگلیسی،عربی و فارسی)،مشاوره و راهنمایی به کانون های مذهبی از جمله فعّالیّت های فرهنگی -دینی ایشان می باشد.
با توجه به نیاز فراوان و طبق وظیفه ،در سال ۲۰۰۷ م مؤسّسّه خیّریه الزهرا سلام الله علیها را تأسيس کردند.(Zahra Trust) با لطف الهی و عنایات ائمّه اطهار علیهم السّلام و همّت بلند حاج آقای معصومی ، مؤسّسّه الزّهرا (س)،در زمان کوتاهی به یکی از مراکز فعّال با خدمات بسیار گسترده در نقاط مختلف دنیا تبدیل گشت.علاوه بر امور خیری به نیازمندان در زمینه های مختلف ،ایشان اقدام به تاسیس و راه اندازی مدارس آموزشی در کابل و کربلا نمودند.
پشتکار و تلاش بی وقفه،اطّلاعات و ارتباطات جهانی،کلام نافذ همراه با تواضع و اخلاص از صفات بارز ایشان است.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslim Haj Shaykh Ali Massoumi is from a noble, respected, and religious family from Bojnord City in the Khorasan province of Iran.
He completed his primary, secondary and post-secondary education in Iran and then in London; and from the age of 21 went on to the seminaries of the holy cities of Qom and then Najaf Ashraf to study seminary sciences.
During the last two decades, he has had the blessing to study under the likes of grand Ayatollah Wahid Khorasani, Ganji (in the holy city of Qom), Ishaq Fayaz and the late Seyyed Muhammad Hassan Hakim (in the city of Najaf Ashraf) and has always been among prominent and distinguished students.
Currently Teaching high-level courses in fiqh, usool and aqaed in Najaf Ashraf Seminary, Shaykh also has valuable writings in jurisprudence and beliefs, and has delivered many lectures in religious centres, seminaries and universities (in English, Arabic and Farsi). He has also provided counseling and guidance to religious centers and institutions.
After visiting and experiencing first-hand global poverty and needs, in 2007 he established The Zahra Trust charity in an endeavor to alleviate some of the suffering of our communities in the poorest of regions.
With the grace of the Almighty and the assistance of the muimineen, The Zahra Trust currently operates in over 12 countries and assists millions of the most vulnerable around the world. With an impeccable track record in due diligence and compliance, the trust has managed to maintain a high level of transparency and credibility in all its projects affording it one the most trusted names in the sector.
